The Chairman's Story
The story of SAMUK began over 13 years ago when I visited the Hangzhou Lift Truck Company (HC) in China.

Back then HC was just beginning to make Nissan trucks, no-one realised what a strong force in the market it was to become. 1996 saw the birth of SAMUK and the start of a new era in forklift truck technology.

SAMUK and its wholly owned subsidiary SAMUK HC Ltd were to become internationally renowned for their high quality products and first rate service.

Now SAMUK and SAMUK HC work together, as part of a joint business venture with Hangcha (HC) of China. The partnership distributes popular lift trucks and warehousing throughout the UK, Ireland and selected European countries.

SAMUK uses a strong, well established and well connected network of local dealers to distribute products and services. This ensures every single customer receives a first class, personalised service. It also means everything you need, such as sales, casual and long-term hire, parts and customer support, is right at your fingertips.

The Depot, Technical Department, Parts Centre and After-sales Support Team are all located in Peterborough, 8km from the A1M.
